Prince Harry urged to meet his 'lookalike' NFL player Carson Wentz

An NFL player involved in a match at Wembley on Sunday has been dubbed Prince Harry's lookalike – with some calling for the pair to meet.

Carson Wentz, who plays for the Philadephia Eagles, has been frequently compared to the Duke of Sussex on social media.

One picture even emerged of him taking off an Eagles player with their helmet lifted, to then reveal Prince Harry's head photoshopped beneath.

An NFL reporter shared a picture of Mr Wentz at a press conference and wrote: "Carson Wentz or Prince Harry?"

While another said: "If the Eagles go to London and don’t get a picture of Prince Harry and Carson Wentz together, it's a complete waste of a trip."

One, who saw the comparison, expressed their relief that they were "not the only one that thinks Prince Harry and Carson Wentz are the same person".

However, it is unlikely the pair will meet despite the pleas, with Prince Harry away on a tour with his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Commenting on this, one person said: "Carson Wentz & Prince Harry have still never been in the same city at the same time."

They then shared a gif which said: "Not suspicious at all..."

A similar Tweet read: "Just wanna point out that, even though the Eagles played in London today, we’ve STILL never seen Carson Wentz and Prince Harry in the same place."

The Eagles played at Wembley on Sunday during the final game of the season's NFL London series.

The team won 24-18 in front of a crowd of 85,870 people.
