Prince Harry told Oprah racist comment about Archie did not come from The Queen or Prince Phillip

Oprah Winfrey has told press in America that Prince Harry revealed to her that the racist remark about his son Archie did NOT come from The Queen or Prince Phillip.

One of the biggest bombshells from Harry and Meghan's tell all chat with Oprah, was a claim that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had concerns and conversations about baby Archie on " how dark his skin might be when he’s born”.

This left Oprah visibly shaken and the revelation has sent shock waves through social media, with some Twitter users speculating who made the damning remark after Harry and Meghan said it would be 'too damaging' to reveal their identity.

Speaking about the much publicised interview on Monday, Oprah offered some clarification.

In a quote paraphrased as breaking news on Loose Women, she said: "He did not share the identity (of the person) with me, but he wanted to make sure that I knew—and if I had an opportunity to share it—that it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were a part of those conversations.

"He did not tell me who were a part of those conversations."

Oprah With Meghan and Harry is on ITV at 9pm on Monday March 8. You can watch the full interview afterwards on the ITV hub.
