Prince Harry to marry

Britain's Prince Harry is engaged to his US actress girlfriend Meghan Markle. The marriage is due to take place in spring 2018, his father Prince Charles announced on Monday.

Prince Harry said they were both delighted as they posed for their first picture together after the announcement of the engagement.

"Thrilled. Over the moon," Prince Harry said when asked how he felt. Reporters asked when he knew she was the one for him. "The very first time we met," he said.

Asked if his proposal was romantic, Harry said, "Of course it was." His fiancee showed off her diamond engagement ring to photographers.

Prince Harry, 33, is currently fifth-in-line to the British throne. Markle, 36, is best known for her role in the US TV legal drama Suits.
