Prince Harry to appear on Good Morning America after ‘truth bombs’ in Oprah interview

It's been revealed that Prince Harry will make an appearance on American TV on Friday morning, ahead of his Apple TV series launching the same day.

Harry will apparently be on Good Morning America on May 21, according Royal journalist and author Omid Scobie.

Meghan Markle's husband is expected to discuss his chat with Oprah Winfrey on the new mental health series The Me You Can't See, which he executive produced with her.

Taking to Twitter, Scobie shared the news and said he was expected to discuss the series amid reports he would be "dropping more truth bombs" in the episode.

He tweeted: "As some of you have already seen, Prince Harry will be joining @GMA tomorrow, May 21, to talk exclusively about #TheMeYouCantSee — the brand new @AppleTV series he executive produced with @Oprah."

It's not yet known what Harry has discussed in the Apple series, with it yet to drop on the streaming service.

Harry is just one of the stars set to open up on the show about mental health.

It comes as an insider claimed Harry would discuss "deeply personal" experiences on the show.

A source told Page Six: "One of the episodes is very personal … deeply."

The series itself comes after Harry sat down with actor Dax Shephard for the Armchair Expert podcast, in which he opened up on his "genetic pain" and said he wanted to "break the cycle" of the "suffering" of his upbringing with his own children.

Scobie recently spoke in a new royal baby documentary, where he claimed a palace aide "rolled their eyes" over Meghan's baby shower in New York, ahead of son Archie's birth in 2019.

Omid explained: "I remember speaking to a palace aide at the time who rolled their eyes.

"They were horrified that something so common was happening within the House of Windsor."
