Prince Harry speaks for the first time on 'rift' between him and his brother

Prince Harry has spoken for the first time regarding a reported 'rift' between him and his brother Prince William.

In a candid interview during an emotional documentary on ITV last night, The Duke of Sussex admitted they were on "different paths" and have "good days and bad days".

He said: "We're brothers, we will always be brothers. We're certainly on different paths at the moment."

It comes after months of speculation about growing tensions within Harry and William's relationship.

The 35-year-old told ITV presenter Tom Bradby - a long-standing friend of Harry's - how he hasn't seen Prince William as much as he used to.

He said: "I'll always be there for him, and I know he'll always be there for me.

"We don't see each other as much as we used to, because we're so busy.

"But I love him dearly and the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing.

"But as brothers, you know, if have good days and bad days."

In the documentary, 'Harry and Meghan: An African Journey', the pair also opened up about the intense pressure of living life in the spot light.

The Duke said: "Part of this role and part of this job, and this family being under the pressure it's under, inevitably stuff happens.

Meanwhile, Meghan revealed that her British friends warned her not to tie the knot with Prince Harry because of the UK tabloids.

She said: "When I first met my now husband, my friends were really happy because I was so happy.

"But my British friends said to me: 'I'm sure he's great, but you shouldn't do it because the British tabloids will destroy your life."
