Prince Harry 'secretly tortured' over decision to leave royal family, author claims

Prince Harry is feeling 'secretly tortured' over his decision to leave his family and move to LA with Meghan Markle and Archie, royal authors have claimed.

Authors Andy Tillett and Dylan Howard has alleged that the Duke of Sussex is struggling to adjust to his changed life in a new book - 'Royals At War: The Inside Story of Harry and Meghan’s Shocking Split With the House of Windsor'.

The feelings were said to be heightened when Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus.

A source has told the Sun : "On top of it all, he’s got cabin fever.

"It was far from an ideal situation. Harry’s gone from feeling excited about the move to feeling secretly tortured."

But an insider told the Sun that Meghan is doing her best to support her husband with the move.

They said: "She’s assuring [Harry] that once things go back to normal, he’ll love their new life in LA."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently holed up in the 12-bedroom $18million Beverly Hills mansion owned by Hollywood actor and producer Tyler Perry.

They have made a series of security upgrades at the property, including 10-foot high screens.

Their home has its own gated community where the rich and famous can hide out in the Hollywood Hills.

The Tuscan villa-inspired mansion boasts its own fountain greeting guests at the front entrance, as well as 22 acres of sprawling grounds.

Marble pillars support a shady porch out back, where there's also an enormous pool where the little family can play and work out, as well as a private security team guarding the gates of the exclusive community.
