Prince Harry's X-rated reaction to Meghan's discovery after 'nasty' fight with William

Prince Harry has revealed his wife Meghan Markle only found out about his fight with his brother Prince William due to marks on his back.

Speaking to US journalist Anderson Cooper, the Duke of Sussex, 38, opened up on a physical altercation he had with his older brother, who had asked for the incident to stay between the pair.

Harry called the spat a build up of frustration and said it happened at a time William was "consuming a lot of the stories" written about the family.

He described how the Prince of Wales, 40, "had a few issues" which weren't based on reality. Harry explained how he was simply defending Meghan when his brother snapped.

"We moved from one room into the kitchen" Harry revealed. " And his frustrations were growing, and growing, and growing. He was shouting at me. I was shouting back at him. It wasn't nice. It wasn't pleasant at all. And he snapped. And he pushed me to the floor."

Anderson then clarified how bad things got, with Harry explaining his brother knocked him to the floor, cutting his back on a dog bowl in the process.

He revealed he didn't actually know he'd cut his back until Meghan later saw a mark on his back. Claiming he was more than happy to keep the ugly incident from his wife, Harry revealed she questioned him on the mark.

He continued: "She goes, "What's that?" I was like, "Huh, what?" I actually didn't know what she was talking about. I looked in the mirror. I was like, 'Oh s***.' Well, 'cause I'd never seen it."

Harry also opened up to the presenter about how both he and his older brother had asked his dad, King Charles III, not to marry the Queen Consort Camilla as their relationship progressed.

Harry admitted that while he was pleased to see his dad happy, he didn't feel it was necessary for the pair to wed.

"We thought that it was gonna cause more harm than good and that if he was now with his person, that-- surely that's enough," he explained.

And Harry revealed he thought Camilla had "started a campaign" in the press to try to get acceptance for the ceremony, explaining how he felt her actions were "dangerous".

The prince's latest interview with Anderson aired just hours after the first British broadcast of the Duke of Sussex's UK chat with ITV News presenter Tom Bradby.
