Prince Harry's 'Spare' to be sold smeared in blood after memoir's killing admission

Prince Harry's memoir Spare hit headlines when it was released earlier this year.

The book provided a candid look into the life of the royal, even giving an exclusive look into his time in the army in Afghanistan.

The controversial memoir immediately became the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time, after over 1.43 million copies were snapped up on its first day of sale in the UK, US, and Canada.

And now, following the bombshell revelation that Harry killed people during his time in the army, 25 copies will be smeared in 'Afghan blood' and sold prior to the King's Coronation reports the Mirror.

The books have been covered in human blood by artist Andrei Molodkin, who will put them up for sale just days before the King's Coronation.

The smeared books will be on sale for £8,000 each in a shop in Windsor, with Andrei saying the money raised will be donated to Afghan charities.

According to the artist, the blood used was originally donated for another protest to Harry's 'kills' remark in the book.

This particular protest saw the Russian anti-war artist project a sculpture filled with blood onto St Paul's Cathedral in London.

During his time in the army, the Duke of Sussex was an Apache helicopter pilot. In 2012, he claimed he flew on six missions in war-torn Afghanistan.

He also revealed that he did not think of the 25 that were killed during his time as "people" but as "chess pieces" that were taken off the board.

A statement given to Sky News about Andrei's latest stunt called Blood Money read: "Prince Harry boasts of killing Taliban like they're baddies in a video game, 'otherising' human life and then cashing in on the sorry tale to sell books about his drug binging, sexual exploits and killing conquests."

Following the protest display, the memoirs will be available to buy at a political and arts organisation in Kennington, London, on May 2.

It remains to be seen whether Harry and wife Meghan Markle will attend the Coronation of his father following the recent rift in the family.

Harry has gone on record publicly criticising his dad, step-mum Camilla, and a number of other family members, including brother William.

He is also said to have sworn at dad Charles in an explosive row over money and it's said the incident had huge consequences.
