Prince Harry's 'resentment' to 'calculated' William who he thinks 'made him the spare'

Prince Harry has "resentment" to "calculated" William who he thinks "made him the spare", according to a royal expert.

The brothers are set to briefly reunite this week at Westminster Abbey on May 6 to help celebrate the King's Coronation.

But while Harry will be alone, as wife Meghan stays at home in Los Angeles to look after their two children, the brothers will have a chance to speak to each other for the first time in months.

However, according to royal expert Tina Brown, the pair are "totally estranged" and are unlikely to talk at the ceremony due to Harry feeling like a "spare."

She told LBC: "The longer Harry dwells on what happened in his life, the more he feels resentment against William.

"He feels, I think, that William was even more calculated, essentially, in making him the number two, making him the spare, and feel like the spare at all time."

With the brothers barely on speaking terms before the ceremony, there is little chance of them reuniting anytime soon, according to Tina.

She added: "So there's no contact between them, I'm told. I think Charles wants to have some kind of rapprochement.

"But I think it's going to take years... it never happened between George VI and the Duke of Windsor, it just got worse.

"Alienations tend to get worse as time goes by, rather than better".

She doesn't believe Harry and William will speak to each other in any great detail - apart from acknowledging each other.

Tina said: "I do not think there will be any contact between them [William and Harry] at the Coronation."

And with the Duke of Sussex's trip to the UK to be cut short as he flies back to the US on the same day, there is little time for talking.

Harry's son Archie turns 6 on the same day of the coronation and, according to a royal source, his trip to the UK will be a "fleeting visit".

The source also said "organisers have been told [that] Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a shame as it will be such a spectacular event."

‌According to reports, with less than a week to go until the historic day, organisers are still uncertain of the Duke of Sussex's plans.

They are still reportedly unaware of when Harry will arrive or if he is happy with where he is sitting in the Abbey.
