Parents are there to teach their children skills and pass down habits that are needed to succeed as adults.
And it appears that one habit that Prince Harry has picked up from his father King Charles often leaves wife Meghan Markle baffled.
The Duke of Sussex talked about the habit in a documentary about his father several years ago - and Prince William also admitted he also did it.
And the habit? They are all obsessed with turning off lights in rooms when they are not in use.
Speaking about their dad in the documentary Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70, Harry said: "He's a stickler for turning lights off.

"And that's now something that I'm obsessed with as well, which is insane because actually, my wife goes 'Well, why turn the lights off? You know it's dark'.
"I go 'we only need one light, we don't need like six', and all of a sudden, it becomes a habit and those small habit changes he's making, every single person can do. And I think that's one of the key lessons certainly that I felt that he taught us."
William agreed with his brother, adding: "I know I've got serious OCD on light switches now which is terrible."

But despite Harry once talking fondly of his father, relations are now at “near rock bottom” between father and son.
And it appears Harry will snub an invite from Charles to spend Christmas together ahead of the prince's book’s global release on January 10.
Titled Spare in reference to him growing up in the shadow of the heir William, the book has already sent shockwaves through the royals.
Insiders said it was hoped there would be a “thawing of relations” between the warring relatives after the Queen’s death.
But sources said they have “no plans” to again join the family, including William and his wife Kate, for their first Christmas without the Queen at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
One insider said the royals were “completely caught by surprise” with the title of the book and further details of how Harry would deliver “raw, unflinching honesty”.
One source added: “This book could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family, it’s desperately sad.
“Everyone is bracing themselves for yet another fraught and frantic period at the mercy of the Sussexes.”
