Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas is engaged to marry the man she dated before her romance with the royal.
The couple announced the happy news on Instagram with Cressida proudly showing off her unusual engagement ring.
A slew of royal watchers were quick to post supportive messages under Harry Wentworth-Stanley's Instagram post announcing their engagement.
Miss Bonas can be seen sporting a large engagement ring in the post, which was captioned 'we getting married'.
James Middleton, Kate's brother, was one of many to congratulate the couple, writing 'so wonderful' alongside three heart emojis.
Sky Sports television presenter Natalie Pinkham added: "Yes! Yes! And yeeeeees again!! Love you guys xxx"
The picture shows the couple smiling on the island of Nantucket, in Massachusetts, US.
Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas reportedly began dating in 2012, although the couple's romance hit the rocks when the royal was pictured naked with a group of women in Las Vegas.
The prince reportedly regularly wrote to Cressida while serving in Afghanistan in late 2012, with the pair getting back together in 2013.
After attending several royal functions together, the pair reportedly split up in 2014 although they remained friendly and she went to Harry and Meghan's wedding last year.
Miss Bonas, 30, has been dating Mr Wentworth-Stanley, an estate agent and son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven, since her split from Prince Harry in 2014, according to The Sun .
The couple previously dated before the actress started her relationship with Prince Harry.
Mr Wentworth-Stanley's Instagram features several pictures of him and Cressida in far-flung places around the world.
