Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy marries brother of Hollywood star

Chelsy Davy, the former girlfriend of Prince Harry, has tied-the-knot with hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott – who happens to be the brother of a Hollywood star.

It seems 36-year-old Chelsy and the 37-year-old Prince have seen their lives mirror one another in the 11 years since they split – as Harry married a Hollywood star too in the form of Meghan Markle.

And while Chelsy hasn’t married an actor herself, she will be rubbing shoulders with Tenet and Dunkirk star Jack Cutmore-Scott at her future family gatherings as she tied-the-knot with his brother Sam.

Reports have emerged to state Chelsy and Sam swapped vows at a low key wedding – with the pair also recently welcoming a child together.

While the exact date of the wedding is not clear, a source told the Daily Mail: “They are married. Very few people knew about the wedding.”

News of the nuptials comes two months after Chelsy welcomed a baby boy named Leo – after “virtually no one” knew she was pregnant.

The identity of the father was then revealed as Sam a week after Leo’s arrival, with Chelsy and the managing director of the Harper Hotel in Holt, Norfolk, now officially husband and wife.

Chelsy and Prince Harry dated from 2004 until 2011 and the blonde Zimbabwean was a guest at the Prince’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.

Jewellery brand owner Chelsy has continued to keep her personal life out of the lime-light – something she was unable to do when dating the Prince.

Back in 2011, when the couple split, she cited the relentless attention dating Harry Brough as a factor to end the romance.

She said later: “I found it very difficult.

“I couldn’t cope. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible.”

Her words have been echoed by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who opted to quit royal life with Harry back in 2020 for a more private existence out of the public eye.

The pair moved to Canada, and then Los Angeles after being the centre of media attention in the UK due to their romance.

In a searing interview with Oprah Winfrey in March last year, Meghan explained that the scrutiny of her personal life and her difficulty adjusting to Royal ways took a huge toll on her mental health.

While Prince Harry explained that he wanted to remove his wife and their son, Archie, out of the UK over fears of ‘history repeating’ – a reference to his late mother, Lady Diana, who died in a car accident in 1997 while being pursued by paparazzi in Paris.

Critics of the couple, however, have questioned what kind of private life they envisaged after moving to California where they racked up multiple mulit-million dollar deals with brands including Netflix, Apple and Spotify where they have openly discussed aspects of their personal lives on platforms with millions of subscribers.
