Prince Harry 'making arrangements' to rush home from America for Prince Philip's funeral but without Meghan Markle

Prince Harry is reported to be making urgent plans to return home for his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral, but without Meghan Markle.

It would be the first time since he quit Royal duties, and was involved in that explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, that he has met face to face with family members.

According to a source quoted by The Mirror, Harry's wife Meghan, 39, would not fly home with him as she is expecting the couple's second child.

Harry, 36, is said to be “united in grief” with his family over the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, aged 99, which was announced on Friday, April 9.

The Mirror source said he had been involved in conversations with several members of the Royal Family over his arrangements to return in time to pay his final respects.

The insider said: “He said he wants to be with everyone and was already making arrangements to come home.”

He and Meghan paid tribute to the Duke today by replacing the home page of their Archewell charitable foundation website with a message reading: “In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. 1921-2021.
