Prince Harry 'isn't thrilled about new life in US' after being 'frozen out' by Royal Family

A royal expert has described Prince Harry as "a rabbit in the headlights" amid claims he is struggling to adjust to life in the US.

The Duke of Sussex returned to Britain for the first time in more than a year to attend Prince Philip's funeral.

It has been widely reported that he, Charles and Prince William spoke after - although this has never been officially confirmed.

But the Mirror reports that royal experts said the event reminded Harry of his old life, despite claims he has been "frozen out" by the Royal Family.

Charlie Rae, a former royal editor at The Sun, told talkRADIO, said: "Out in the US, Harry looks like a startled rabbit caught in the headlights."

TalkRADIO host Kevin O'Sullivan said: "We read that Harry was shocked by the frosty reception he got from some members of the Royal Family.

"Some literally turned their back on him. He was stunned by this - I'm not sure why that was a surprise to him.

"It must be occurring to him how frozen out he is, how he has turned his back on his former life.

"There is suggestion that when he came back a few weeks ago, he was reminded of his old life."

He added: "He felt rather nostalgic about it and he isn't so thrilled about his new circumstances as he wants you to believe."

Mr Rae added he doesn't believe Charles and William "will be extending their open arms again to Harry".

According to some reports, Harry organised a "summit" with Prince Charles, William and Kate at his UK residence Frogmore Cottage, after the funeral for Prince Philip.

But others claim the "clear-air-talks" didn't actually happen as Harry only stayed for a few days, while the family wanted to focus on supporting the Queen at such a hard time.
