Prince Harry had a "very special" reunion with the Queen at Prince Philip's funeral despite the fallout of his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, a book has claimed.
The service at Windsor Castle came just weeks after the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, launched a blistering attack on the royal family, accusing one member of making a racist comment and claiming Prince William and Charles were 'trapped' by their duties.
However, the simmering tensions between the Sussexes and the Firm were put to one side at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, with Harry and Wills pictured chatting as they walked alongside Kate Middleton.
And in an updated version of Harry and Meghan's unauthorised biography, Finding Freedom, it is claimed the prince also enjoyed a long-awaited reunion with Her Majesty, having gone the longest period in his lifetime without seeing her.

"To see each other after so long apart, the longest he hadn’t seen the Queen for, was very special,” a source told authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, according to Town and Country.
"Despite everything that has happened, he has the utmost love and respect for her. Her life of duty and service is one of the many ways in which she has inspired him to also serve.”
According to the source, Harry spent most of his time after the funeral with cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
The duke and duchess are close friends with the pair, who took over their former residence Frogmore Cottage following the Sussexes' move to America.
Ahead of the birth of baby August in February, it was revealed Harry's 31-year-old cousin had moved in with Jack.
The Queen had gifted the property to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - as well as their new titles - as a wedding present prior to them tying the knot in May 2018.
Then, before they moved in in April 2019, Meghan and Harry had the whole 19th century Grade II-listed building refurbished - costing the taxpayer £2.4million, though later paid back.
Finding Freedom, originally published last year and written by Scobie and Durand, chronicles Harry and Meghan's romance and brief period as members of the monarchy before they broke away to forge a new life for themselves and son Archie in the US.
It is being re-released tomorrow in paperback version and will include a new epilogue that covers events such as the couple's bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview and the death of Prince Philip.
