Prince Harry enjoys beach stroll with his dog as he soaks up sun after landing two jobs

Prince Harry enjoyed a casual seaside stroll with his dog as he soaked up the California sun after landing two new jobs.

The Duke of Sussex seems to be adjusting well to his new life in California, following his and Meghan Markle's decision to step down as senior royals and leave the UK.

He appeared content as he walked along the Santa Barbara beach in a white t-shirt and cargo shorts, while donning a backwards baseball cap and sunglasses.

The royal played with his black labrador Pula by throwing a tennis ball for her to fetch as he strolled barefoot into the sea on Friday.

It comes after Harry was appointed as 'Chief Impact Officer' for the Silicon Valley firm BetterUp, which focuses on coaching people on their mental health to help people's performance.

He has also landed a job as commissioner at the Aspen Institute, focusing on tackling misinformation online.

The Duke of Sussex joined a team 14 experts, including Rupert Murdoch's daughter-in-law Kathryn, on the Aspen Institute's new Commission on Information Disorder.

The six-month study is being funded by billionaire Craig Newmark, who founded the online marketplace Craigslist.

In a statement about his position, Harry said: "As I've said, the experience of today's digital world has us inundated with an avalanche of misinformation, affecting our ability as individuals as well as societies to think clearly and truly understand the world we live in.

"It's my belief that this is a humanitarian issue and as such, it demands a multi-stakeholder response from advocacy voices, members of the media, academic researchers, and both government and civil society leaders. I'm eager to join this new Aspen commission and look forward to working on a solution-oriented approach to the information disorder crisis."
