Prince Harry eating a pancake is all of us on Shrove Tuesday

It’s pancake day today and if you’re anything like Prince Harry, hopefully you’re stuffing your face with as many pancakes as you can get your hands on. The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle stopped into a pancake-making class on their recent trip to Morocco, where Harry played the old "I'll just take one bite" trick anyone who grew up in a big family can identify with.

The Duke was filmed by Lizzie Robinson of ITV as he talked with Moroccan Chef Dar Moha, as well as a couple of children who had participated in Moha's cookery class. After being presented with a plate of treats made by the chefs, Harry rolled one up and took a shark-like bite.

He then realised (a little late) that he'd left nothing for his wife Meghan Markle. "Bit late now" he told her.

The Duchess of Sussex complimented the children on their cooking, saying the pancake was “excellent”. Through a mouthful of pancake, Harry eventually managed to add, “Delicious.”

The pancakes Harry and Meghan were a traditional Moroccan recipe from the Hubb Community Kitchen and Meghan Markle’s Together: Our Community Cookbook.

The cookery class was held for “children from underprivileged backgrounds and disabled staff” and Meghan reportedly told Moha, “[The Hubb Community Kitchen will] be so proud to see this. The message has travelled far.”

Together: Our Community Kitchen can be purchased on Amazon for £9.99 and profits from it go towards The Royal Foundation fund, with a special focus on supporting the Hubb Community Kitchen.

Happy pancake day!
