Prince Harry Duped by 2 Russian Comedians

Two Russian pranksters said they duped Prince Harry in a phone call, in which he said "Unfortunately the world is being led by some very sick people", and spoke about his relationship with the royal family after he and his wife Meghan stepped back from their royal roles.

During the phone calls whose details were leaked by The Sun, the Prince said he thought he was speaking with environmental campaigner Greta Thunberg. He also said "I think the mere fact that Donald Trump is pushing the coal industry is so big in America, he has blood on his hands."

Harry, 35, said Prime Minister Boris Johnson is "a good man", and believed that Thunberg could be "one of few people" who can touch his soul, adding that "people like her and younger generation are the ones that are going to make all the difference."

The Duke of Sussex was duped by the two Russian men Alexei Solyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov, known as Lexus and Voyan who have a habit of fooling politicians and pop stars in prank calls. "It was us", Voyan told AFP.

Their previous victims include Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pop icon Elton John, Johnson, and the French President Emmanuel Macron.

During the two phone calls that took place on December 31, and January 22, Harry defended his use of private jet; and when asked about the scandal involving his uncle Prince Andrew, he said: "I have very little to say on that."

The prince also confirmed moving with his family to Canada.

The Duke, who will give up all his royal duties by the end of March, said: "Sometimes the right decision isn't always the easy one. But this decision was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son."
