When Prince Harry and his wife decided to leave the royal family and start a new life in the U.S. they probably didn’t envision themselves living the kind of life they’re living now. It seems the Sussex family’s allies are dropping like flies as both friends and family are growing tired of the drama. However, the Duke of Sussex suspects that Prince William might be to blame for his most recent snub.
In a recent blow to Harry, one of his former friends has reportedly snubbed the Prince. The friend in question is a very well known Hollywood A-lister, you may know him from Grease, or perhaps Pulp Fiction. That’s right, it’s John Travolta.
It’s hard to believe Travolta and the Prince were ever friends, after all, what do they have in common? But regardless, Harry reportedly told friends the movie star was “someone I genuinely relied on” according to an insider close to the Prince.
The Travolta snub
The friendship between Harry and the A-list actor had been blossoming for a little under a year. However, recently the actor had reportedly grown cold and now it seems that friendship is on its last legs according to an insider who spoke with Radar Online. Travolta has apparently been distancing himself from the Prince in recent days and his cold shoulder has left Harry both “furious” and “humiliated.”
The reason behind the sudden cold shoulder reportedly comes from Travolta’s desire to avoid the ongoing drama between Harry, Meghan, and the rest of the Royal Family in the U.K. although to be fair he’s already got enough personal drama in his own life. However, the Prince has his own theory as to why his former friend has decided to cut him off.
Prince Harry Suspects William is to blame
Harry reportedly began noticing cracks in his relationship with Travolta after the actor started spending more time with Britney Spears’ ex-husband. The lack of contact led him to begin wondering if there was another reason for the sudden cut-off. The insider also claimed that the Prince suspected his brother was to blame.
“Harry’s deeply suspicious that William is turning people against him, and this only fuels that anxiety. He’s been saying he wants to call John directly and ask him to be honest about what’s really going on.”
William doesn’t have a known connection to Travolta but Harry still believes that his brother may have been responsible or that royal whispers may have persuaded the actor in some way.
Regardless of who caused it, the snub has left the Sussexes feeling “like yet another opportunity has been taken away.”
Meghan has just launched her brand and Harry is still struggling to find his footing in America, having an A-list friend could have really helped them in their business ventures. But the ongoing drama between families has led to yet another door being closed and even more animosity between Harry and William.
