Prince Harry 'back in Covid quarantine after Prince Philip's funeral ahead of US return'

Prince Harry returned to quarantine after the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral yesterday, it is believed, ahead of his journey back to the US.

Harry was briefly reunited with his family for the first time in more than a year, and was seen chatting to brother William following the service at Windsor Castle.

But other royals are said to have given him the cold shoulder - with only Prince Andrew reportedly offering any sympathy on his return to the UK.

Following the funeral for his 99-year-old grandfather, Prince Philip, Harry is understood to have returned to Frogmore Cottage - the home he and wife Meghan were gifted by the Queen following their wedding.

This is in line with Covid rules, which state that people travelling to the UK must isolate for 10 days.

He was allowed to attend the funeral on compassionate grounds, but regulations state he must remain in isolation "at all other times".

It is not known when he will return to the US, where his heavily-pregnant wife remained on medical advice.

There has been speculation that royals might try to use Harry's trip to the UK to heal the rifts that have opened, particularly between himself and William.

In his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry claimed William and dad Charles were "trapped" in their royal roles and claimed an unnamed member of the family had raised concerns about son Archie's skin colour.

Family members are said to have been furious, and it was claimed that Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, completely blanked Harry ahead of yesterday's funeral.

But some have suggested that now is not the time to try clear the air, and Harry could make a quick return to his Californian mansion.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward, who penned book Prince Philip Revealed, told Entertainment Daily! : “I always imagined he would return directly to California.

“It would not be the right moment for emotional discussions so as far as Harry is concerned the sooner he can get back to Meghan and Archie the better.

“I don’t think any of his family would expect him to do anything else.”
