Prince Harry and William seen talking together for first time as they leave chapel

Prince William and Prince Harry walked side by side for the first time since their reported rift as they left their grandfather’s funeral this afternoon.

The once close brothers were seen together as they left St George's chapel where Prince Philip was laid to rest.

Harry and William, who had been having ' space' ahead of the reunion, had earlier been separated by the Queen for their arrival at the chapel.

The Princes walked behind their grandfather's coffin, separated by cousin Peter Phillips.

Following the emotional service, which saw The Queen sitting on her own in accordance with coronavirus guidelines, the brothers emerged from the chapel accompanied by the Duchess of Cambridge.

The brothers were also seen exchanging words with one another as they walked, giving hope to Royal watchers that they can mend their relationship.

Buckingham Palace has not said what will happen after the funeral service, insisting it is a private matter.

There will be no wake as such because different households are still not able to mix indoors.
