Prince Harry and Prince William pictured together as Duke of Edinburgh is laid to rest

Prince Harry and Prince William have been pictured together at Windsor Castle for the funeral of Prince Philip.

The Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge joined the funeral procession at Windsor Castle as it followed the hearse carrying the Duke of Edinburgh.

It is Prince Harry's first time back in the UK since he formally stepped down as a senior member of the Royal family in January last year, following his and Meghan Markle's decision to move to America.

Harry and Meghan recently took part in a televised interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they criticised aspects of their treatment by certain members of the Royal Family and others.

Meghan has not attended today's funeral as she is pregnant with the couple's second child.

The brothers were not standing directly next to each other as the procession approached the Gaililee porch. They were joined by Prince Charles and a host of other Royal family members following the hearse along the castle grounds.

The Queen was also pictured for the first time since her husband's death. A minute's silence was being observed at 3pm before the funeral service begins.
