Dumbarton’s MSP has been left stunned after Prince Harry and Meghan 'reportedly rejected the title of Earl of Dumbarton' for their son - because it contains the word 'dumb'.
Harry and Meghan, who were appointed the titles of Earl and Countess of Dumbarton on their wedding day, reportedly 'refused the same title for their son Archie.
The Telegraph report that the couple, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, rejected the name for their son.

The paper say sources reveal they declined to use the title as they feared their son would be bullied or attract unfortunate nicknames as a result of the Scots town’s name.
And Dumbarton’s MSP Jackie Baillie responded to news that Harry and Meghan rejected her local constituency in a light-hearted way.
The Labour MSP said she was reflecting on this 'low blow' and will issue a statement in the morning.
She said: “Too late! I am reflecting on this low blow and will issue a full statement in the morning. In the meantime…..”
The tweet was accompanied by a meme of her in parliament with the words “’mon then”.
The news was also shared by Labour leader Anas Sarwar who tweeted in response to the story: “The Queen… of Dumbarton @jackiebmsp is not going to be happy!”
