Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie and his new sister 'to make Buckingham Palace balcony debut' next year

Archie and his baby sister could make their Buckingham Palace balcony debuts on the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year, it's claimed.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to visit the UK to attend the celebrations at the beginning of June 2022.

Buckingham Palace has announced plans to mark Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne, including an extended Bank Holiday for workers in the country.

Among the celebrations is the Queen's popular birthday parade - Trooping the Colour - where the Royal Family usually gathers on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF fly-past.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been seen on the balcony at previous official events, with their brother Prince Louis making his debut in 2019.

Harry and Meghan's son Archie will turn three before the Jubilee and could be among members of the Royal Family when Trooping the Colour takes place on June 2.

The Duchess of Sussex is pregnant with a baby girl and it is thought she could also make her debut in 2022.

Princess Eugenie's son and Princess Beatrice's boy or girl could also join their family at the popular event next year.

Harry and Meghan moved to the US with their son Archie, who turned two on May 6, after stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family.

Queen Elizabeth is said to be getting along well with Archie and reportedly has video calls with him and his parents.

She reportedly logged on to wish her great-grandson a happy birthday over Zoom last month.

On Valentine's Day this year, the Sussexes announced they are expecting a baby girl.

The announcement came three months after Meghan opened up about her pain and grief following a miscarriage.

In November 2020, the former Suits actress wrote in a piece for the New York Times : "I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second."

In February, the Sussexes announced Meghan's pregnancy and during their Oprah interview in March they announced their new baby will be a girl.

Meghan, 39, is expected to give birth to her daughter this summer and a royal expert has said the Royal Family "will welcome the new baby with open arms."

She has not shared her due date, but according to some royal experts she could be giving birth " any day now ".

Nick Bullen believes the birth of Meghan and Harry's daughter could heal the damaged relationship between the couple and the rest of the family.

He told Us Weekly: “I am sure the royal family will welcome the new baby with open arms.

“A new life is often a great way to help try and repair the rifts in any family, royal or not."
