Prince Harry and Megan share new pic of baby Archie to mark his first Father's Day

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have shared a new snap of baby Archie to celebrate their first Father's Day.

The cute image is the first close-up we've had of baby Archie since he was born just over a month ago.

The photo with a sepia filter shows Baby Sussex's hand holding onto his father's finger - so tiny that it barely wraps around.

The royal couple shared the image to their 8.5m followers on their Sussex Royal Instagram account.

The caption read: "Happy Father’s Day!

"And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex."

Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6 2019. In announcing his birth, the Duke described his son as "to-die-for".

He said: "This little thing is absolutely to-die-for, so I'm just over the moon.

"It's only been two-and-a-half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up."

A few days after baby Archie's birth, the royal couple also celebrated the American Mother's Day on May 12.

In a similar post to their Sussex Royal Instagram, the pair shared a picture of Meghan cradling baby Archie's feet, which paid tribute to Princess Diana.
