- Kensington Palace released a new photograph of Prince George to commemorate his 13th birthday, which he celebrated on Wednesday 22 July.
- The image, shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media, shows George in a dark suit with an open-necked white shirt, smiling with his hands in his pockets, and was taken by Matt Porteous after Trooping the Colour in June.
- George, whose full name is George Alexander Louis, is now second in line to the throne, following his father Prince William.
- He is set to begin his secondary schooling at the prestigious Eton College in Windsor this September, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, Prince Harry.
- Eton College, known for its self-reliance and leadership development, has a distinguished list of past students including actors, prime ministers and writers.
