They might be royal, have grand titles and be third and fourth in line to the throne, but as soon as Prince George and Princess Charlotte walk through the school gates they are treated like any other child.
And this means they must do what teachers tell them and follow the school's most important rule - just like everyone else.
The pair attend the expensive private school Thomas's Battersea in South London, which caters for children age four to 13.
Its website states: "As you would expect of any Thomas's school, the most important school rule is 'Be Kind'."
"We expect pupils at Thomas’s to be kind; to be good friends to those around them, always on the lookout for and ready to support those in need of a word of encouragement or a listening ear."

While headteacher of the school, Simon O'Malley writes: "We hope our pupils will leave us with a strong sense of social responsibility, ready to be conscientious and caring citizens of the world."
Previously journalist Jane Moore gave an insight into the school during an appearance on ITV's Loose Women.
She said: "It's a really great little school actually for the reasons I think that it really focuses on kindness, it's a really big thing in that school and the pastoral care is amazing.

"There are signs everywhere saying be kind, that’s the ethos of the school. They don’t encourage you to have best friends."
George and Charlotte are due back at the school later this week after enjoying a fun-packed summer holiday.
Younger brother Louis will start school next year once he turns four.
Eight-year-old George is about to start Year 4 and Charlotte, six, is going into Year 2 - but when they are there they go by different names.
Charlotte's full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
But at school, she is known as just Charlotte Cambridge.
Similarly, George is technically George Alexander Louis, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge - but goes by George Cambridge.
Their dad Prince William and uncle Prince Harry used the same style for their names, using Charles's title - Wales - as their surname.
