Prince Charles, William and Kate have STILL not met Archie five days after birth

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might have introduced their son to the world, but he's still yet to meet his grandfather, uncle and aunt.

Baby Archie's birth on Monday morning took place as Prince Charles prepared to head to Germany with Camilla on a four day trip.

The pair are said to be planning on paying the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Frogmore next week.

William and Kate have also been out and about on royal visits this week and are also yet to meet their nephew.

Why Kate Middleton and William haven't met Meghan Markle and Harry's royal baby yet

But spokespeople for Clarence House and the Sussexes told The Sun that plans are in the diary for a visit to take place.

Relatives to have met baby Archie so far include The Queen and Prince Philip who were introduced on Wednesday.

And Meghan's mum Doria Ragland who travelled with Harry and Meghan to Portland Hospital where the Duchess gave birth.

The Duke of Cambridge said he was "absolutely thrilled" about Archie's birth during a visit to Cutty Sark in Greenwich this week.

But the Prince couldn't help making a dad joke about his brother joining "the sleep deprivation society that is parenting".

The Duke of Cambridge said: "Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down.

"I'm very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting."

Kate also added: "As William said, we're looking forward to meeting him and finding out what his name's going to be so so it's really exciting for both of them and we wish them all the best.

"These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best."
