Prince Charles was spotted at a supermarket self-checkout during a visit to an Iceland supermarket today.
The Prince of Wales stopped off at Iceland Foods Ltd in Deeside Industrial Park, Flintshire, North Wales, to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
The 72-year-old royal took a tour of the site this morning and learned about the firm's sustainability projects and community initiatives, as well as reaction to panic-buying during the Covid pandemic.
Charles was greeted by the Lord Lieutenant of Clwyd, Henry Fetherstonhaugh, and introduced to Iceland founder and executive chairman, Sir Malcolm Walker, reports North Wales Live.
He also met chief executive, Tarsem Dhaliwal, managing director, Richard Walker (BITC’s Business Ambassador for Wales and Chairman of Surfers Against Sewage) and head of commercial, Paul Dhaliwal.

In a video, he was seen to be in high spirits as he made jokes with his hosts and applied a disposable face mask.
His first stop was at the reverse vending machine, which rewards users for recycling.
HRH then moved towards the boardroom and offices to meet staff.
In the onsite store, head of sustainability, Stuart Lendrum, showed him the latest range of Iceland’s plastic free packaging, including plastic-free bags.
The prince then went to the Iceland Development Kitchen where he sampled some products and discussed fish sourcing.
A tour of the photographic studio and the cold store, opened by him 34 years ago, followed, as well as the staff restaurant, known as the ‘Roxy’.
Charles unveiled a plaque in the reception area to commemorate and conclude the visit.
Further visits in the region, alongside wife Camilla, are also taking place today.
Clarence House confirmed on Twitter that the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have begun their annual Wales Week tour.
It comes after Charles revealed which song used to give him "an irresistible urge" to dance as he discussed his favourite tracks on a hospital radio show.
During a special interview recorded for the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) he recalled dancing to the track on his 30th birthday.
Speaking on the show, called Music & Memories With HRH The Prince Of Wales, the royal shared his favourite tracks including songs from Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross.
