Prince Charles's car 'collides with deer' at Balmoral estate

Prince Charles’s car has reportedly collided with a deer at the Queen's Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire.

The Audi he was driving was reportedly damaged in the incident.

The Independent understands that the Prince of Wales did not sustain any injuries. There is no news on the condition of the deer.

The crash took place over the weekend and left the car so badly damaged a specialist mechanic had to attend the Queen’s estate to repair it, according to an unconfirmed report by The Mirror.

The crash took place on the same weekend the Duchess of Cambridge’s family were visiting at the estate. Prince Charles was on a break from official duties.

A spokesman for Clarence House said it could not comment on something that took place in his private time.
