Prince Charles and Camilla mark 15th anniversary with new photograph holding their dogs

Clarence House/PA

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have released a new photograph of themselves with their two dogs to mark their 15th wedding anniversary.

The photo marks the first time the couple have been pictured together since it was revealed that Prince Charles had been diagnosed with Covid-19 last month.

In the image, taken by a member of the couple’s staff, they pose in the front porch of Birkhall, their home on the Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Prince Charles is captured holding a Jack Russell Terrier named Beth who was rescued by Battersea Dogs and Cats home, which Camilla is the Royal Patron of.

The 72-year-old heir to the throne is wearing a navy jacket, blue shirt, green trousers and suede loafers.

Camilla is pictured holding a second Jack Russell Terrier named Bluebell. She is wearing an open-neck pink shirt, blue jeans, a blue jumper and navy suede boots.

The royal couple were reunited on Monday after Camilla came out of a 14-day period of self-isolation, which she was required to do due to Charles having been diagnosed with coronavirus in March.

However, Charles, 71, has now recovered from the illness after having only mild symptoms. Camilla, 72, tested negative for the disease.

The couple got married in a civil ceremony at the Windsor Guildhall on 9 April 2005.

The wedding ceremony was followed by a blessing in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, which is also where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married in May 2018.
