Prince Andrew watches daughter Beatrice get married in 'secret wedding' to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

Princess Beatrice has tied the knot at a private ceremony in front of her dad Prince Andrew.

The Queen's granddaughter married millionaire property developer Edoardo Mozzi on Friday morning.

The couple had reportedly hoped to invite 150 guests. However, those plans were scuppered due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Instead, Buckingham Palace said the pair enjoyed a "small ceremony" at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

"The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17th July," confirmed the palace in a statement.

“The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family.

“The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government guidelines.

And the Mirror reports that her dad , Prince Andrew, was also in attendance.

The couple had initially planned to wed in May, but the service had to be scrapped due to lockdown while Prince Andrew has been involved in a scandal due to his friendship with dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The Prince stepped back from public duties days after a TV interview in which he discussed his relationship with Epstein.

Princess Beatrice is currently ninth in line to the throne. Her sister, Eugenie, attended Newcastle University.

The newlyweds have been friends for years but romanced blossomed and the pair started dating in 2018.
