Prince Andrew seen with ex wife Sarah Ferguson after Queen stripped him of royal titles

Prince Andrew has been seen with his ex wife Sarah Ferguson after the Queen stripped him of his royal and military titles.

Andrew and Fergie who divorced in 1996, but remained in close contacts were spotted driving from Royal Lodge, in the grounds of Windsor Great Park in Berkshire where Andrew lives.

As the legal case being brought by Virginia Guiffre over sexual assault allegations rolls on in the Big Apple, 150 war veterans wrote a letter to the Queen asking for her to take action.

They said it would be "inconceivable" Andrew would remain in post if it were "any other senior military officer"

They wrote: "Officers of the British armed forces must adhere to the very highest standards of ...honourable conduct.

"These are standards which Prince Andrew has fallen well short of.

"We are therefore asking that you take immediate steps to strip Prince Andrew of all his military ranks and titles.

"We understand that he is your son, but we write to you in your capacity as head of state and as Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Navy and Air Force."

Andrew has now been stripped of his military titles and royal patronages and can no longer be referred to as His Royal Highness.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK! : "As a mother, this is the stuff of nightmares.

"The Queen on her Jubilee year, is being hit by this double whammy effect of trouble for the firm and trouble for the family.

"She has spent so many years building the reputation, and then suddenly it comes out."The Epstein thing has been under the surface for a decade, but it’s now exploded.

"It’s one disaster after the other."

Sarah Ferguson meantime can hold onto her Duchess title despite Andrew no longer being HRH.

Friends of Sarah told the Daily Mail : "Andrew is still the Duke of York, so it is not an issue."
