Prince Andrew pal Ghislaine Maxwell ‘being hidden from FBI in Israeli safe house’ claim

Prince Andrew’s friend Ghislaine Maxwell has been accused of being a foreign intelligence “asset” who is currently hiding in an Israeli safe house.

It’s been claimed the British socialite, who has been accused of being Jeffery Epstein’s “madam”, is being hidden from the FBI as they investigate her friendship with the late paedophile.

Maxwell, 58, has long been rumoured to have acted with intelligence agencies because she was said to have held information on the world’s rich and famous.

The claims came as the Duke of York’s sex accuser, Virginia Giuffre, vowed to “take down the one per cent”, with her case is set to return to court later this month.

Maxwell has been accused in several lawsuits of procuring underage girls for US billionaire Epstein, to sexually traffick them among his wealthy and powerful friends.

Since accusations were first made against her in 2015, she has become a recluse.

Following Epstein’s death in August as he awaited trial for underage sex trafficking, sources close to Maxwell say she is being looked after by powerful friends.

A source said: “Ghislaine and Epstein were assets of sorts for multiple foreign governments.

“She is sometimes in the UK, but most often in other countries, such as Israel, where her powerful contacts have provided her with safe houses and protection.”

Maxwell faces possible further accusations on January 16, when a New York judge will consider whether to unseal documents containing allegations against Epstein.

The hearing will “address notification of third parties named in the documents,” one of whom is believed to be Prince Andrew.
