"Outer Banks" fans, listen up: Prime Video just dropped a trailer for a new series from "OBX" series co-creator Jonas Pate — and it's streaming soon.
This new YA music drama called "The Runarounds" is an eight-episode series that's inspired by (and stars) the real band of the same name.
If you're looking for more drama while you wait for "Outer Banks" season 5, it could be your next must-watch show.
The series revolves around a group of high school graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina, who form a band the summer after graduation, dreaming of getting their big break.
As you can see above, that journey's anything but easy. It looks to be dominated by all the ups and downs of teen life: friendship, relationships, and what looks like plenty of drama, perfect for coming-of-age story fans.
The trailer also features The Runarounds' original song "Funny How The Universe Works," as performed by the band themselves.
Keen to see what's in store? You don't have long to wait: "The Runarounds" starts streaming exclusively on Prime Video on September 1. All eight episodes will be available at launch.
