Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah discuss plans for ‘Mission Telangana’

HYDERABAD: The BJP central leadership has decided to send a team of 15 national leaders to every state soon to meet with party cadre and leaders on a regular basis as part of election preparations next year.

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union minister Amit Shah met separately with state party leaders to discuss the preparations for ‘Mission Telangana’ during NEC meeting.

The national organising secretaries met on Monday to discuss how to take the action plan to the ground level. The BJP state unit will meet with district incharges and other leaders on Tuesday. There is speculation that Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender will be heading the committee on joinings of leaders from other parties.

Nallu Indrasena Reddy was committee’s previous chairman and G Vivek will now be a member of the committee.

Meanwhile, the party’s statement on Telangana was 12 pages long. It attacked the TRS government on various fronts, including lack of medical infrastructure in the state and how people were ignored during Covid-19 pandemic.
