Prime Energy now on sale in Sainsbury's - including limited edition flavour

Another major UK supermarket has confirmed that it will now be stocking the popular Prime Hydration energy drink. From today (Feb 21) Sainsbury’s has become the latest big retailer to add the KSI and Logan Paul drink to its shelves, following giants Asda, Aldi and Costco.

The supermarket will also be stocking the limited edition orange and mango flavour only available in the UK for £2.50, while the rest of the flavours will be sold for £2. Bottles are predicted to fly off the shelves, according to the MEN, as the viral drink is known to sell out extremely fast.

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: "We know our customers actively seek the latest in product innovation. We are excited to be launching the following Prime Hydration products in store from Tuesday 21 February:

  • Prime Hydration Lemon Lime
  • Prime Hydration Blue Raspberry
  • Prime Hydration Tropical Punch
  • Prime Hydration Ice Pop
  • Prime Hydration KSI Limited Edition Orange & Mango."

The launch comes as Morrison's has confirmed it is also 'looking' into supplying customers. The supermarket giant has not yet confirmed dates for when the drink will be stocked however. In a statement to the M.E.N, Morrison's said: "We are looking to bring PRIME into stores."

The beverage was initially sold in Asda stores across the UK but demand rose so high that some independent retailers were selling them for as much as £8.50 in Manchester with even higher prices on sites like eBay. During previous launches, huge queues have gathered as people try to get their hands on the product - including at Aldi stores across the country.

The business venture for famous YouTubers Logan and KSI, who were once enemies, has been extremely lucrative. Recently the social media stars revealed just how much they made from Prime drinks.

Speaking on KISS FM's The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Paul, 27, said "in year one we cleared $250 million in retail sales and $110million gross internally.

"We definitely cracked the code. We hit a few really important things that are a staple marketing ploy of this generation," Paul said. He also added that in January 2023 alone, they did $45 million.
