Prime drink returns to Aldi this week for £1.99 while stocks last

Hugely popular drink Prime is returning to Aldi shelves this week. It will be available as a £1.99 Special Buy while stocks last.

The drink, created by online sensations KSI and Logan Paul, flew off the shelves the last time it was in stock at Aldi, with reports of shoppers "climbing over each other" to get their hands on it, the MEN reports. Videos went viral of people queuing in their hundreds to buy it.

Aldi has confirmed its return in stores nationwide from Tuesday (April 18) - however as it’s a Special Buy, once they’re gone, they’re gone. There will also be a purchase limit of one of each flavour per customer.

The drink is available in six different flavours - a limited edition Orange and Mango, Meta Moon, Tropical Punch, Blue Raspberry, Lemon and Lime and Ice Pop. The drink, which is 10% coconut water, contains electrolytes and B vitamins and BCAAs and has around 20 calories per bottle.

In February, the drink's YouTuber creators revealed that their first year of business they cleared $250 million in retail sales and $110million gross internally. They also added that in January 2023 alone, they saw sales of $45 million.

The drink is also Arsenal's Official Hydration Partner for the 2022 to 2023 season. KSI, who is an Arsenal supporter, said the collaboration was a 'childhood dream.'
