If you don’t want such a big speaker, but still want high-quality sound, go for the Polk Audio T30. It’s a small speaker that’s designed to sit on a bookshelf or cabinet, and can be arranged either horizontally or vertically. It features a 100-watt speaker and can be integrated into your existing home theater setup. Each speaker usually goes for $130, but you can get it now for $65.
Another Polk Audio favorite, the T15 is the slightly different looking—and more affordable—version of the T30. The Polk Audio T15 is a 100-watt speaker designed to be placed on a bookshelf or on a cabinet. And the speaker supports both Dolby and DTS Surround. Best of all, you can mount it on the wall. The Polk Audio T15 is available now for $50, a 50 percent discount off its regular retail price of $100.
If you’re not necessarily looking for a home theater speaker and instead want one that can be used anywhere in the house, consider the Bose SoundLink. It’s a Bluetooth-enabled speaker that comes in a variety of colors, including blue, black, and red. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and has controls on the top to pause, skip, or play. The Bose SoundLink usually sells for $129, but is now on sale for $89.
Another solid option is Yamaha YAS-207BL Sound Bar with a wireless subwoofer. You can place the soundbar under your television to boost mid sounds and go with the subwoofer somewhere else in the room to enhance your bass. And since it’s wireless, you won’t need to worry about running cables from the subwoofer to your bass. Regularly priced at $300, you can get it now for $230.
If you’re looking for a freestanding speaker to help you get better sound in the home, check out the Klipsch R-26F. It’s a tower speaker that’s designed to fit in small to medium-sized rooms. It has a 1-inch tweeter and dual 6.5″ woofers. And with a nice black polymer veneer finish, it will look nice in your living room. It’s available now for $260 per speaker.
