Teaching is one of the most challenging professions out there, and the pressure is huge as you're responsible for the education and futures of children.
But some people still don't give teachers the respect they deserve, believing they finish when the kids go home and judging their long term breaks.
And while many people have a new found understand of how hard the profession is after homeschooling during the pandemic, it seems some teachers still have to put up with nasty comments.
So primary teacher and TikTok star Miss Sullivan decided to share the five most annoying comments people make in a bid to get people to realise how irritating they are.
Sharing a video with her 28,000 followers, she posted a photo of her at her graduation with the caption: "What it's like being a primary teacher."
She then listed the five most irritating comments she gets, starting with: "I wish I worked 9-3."
Up next is the very rude "aren't you just babysitting?"
And of course there was a comment about the six-week school holidays, saying: "You get so much time off."
A slightly creepier comment, which normally comes from men, is "I wish you were my teacher".
But by far the most offensive comment is "those who can't do, teach".
What do you think of the comments? Have your say in the comment section below.
Other teachers took to the comment section to add other statements they've heard over the years.
One wrote: "
Another added: "I've also seen people saying 'those who can't teach, teach primary' and I think it's just as hard."
A third commented: "Don't forget 'your job is easy all you is look after children'."
Other people were quick to jump in with supportive messages, praising Miss Sullivan and other teachers for the incredible work they do.
One wrote: "Nah primary school teachers literally deserve the world."
Another teacher added: "I honestly challenge any one of these people to do just one day as a teacher. Just one."
Someone added: "This doesn't even make sense. How do we learn if there are no teachers."
However Miss Sullivan makes it clear in the comments section that it's still and brilliant profession, using the comment section to encourage people to become a teacher.
She wrote: "I honestly love my job so much and wouldn't see myself doing anything else! It is hard work and full on but there are so many positives as well."
