The Department of Education has published new primary school league table data for England.
The tables are based on how 11-year-olds perform in the national curriculum tests - known as Sats - which are taken at the end of primary school.
Sats provide a snapshot of how well each school is performing.
The Department of Education measured pupils reading, writing and maths skills across the country.
Here in Bristol, Perry Court E-Act Academy in Hengrove performed the best when children's reading, writing and maths were measured.
The results also measure the percentage of pupils meeting expected standards.
The aim is to hold schools to account and to give parents a way of comparing schools in their area.
Nationally, it's the fourth year that children sat the government's tougher tests which were introduced back in 2016.
The data across the country shows 65 per cent of pupils met their expected targets across all tests including reading, writing and maths - up from 64% last year.
Girls continue to outperform boys across all subjects at the expected standard.
70% of girls reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, compared with 60% of boys - a gender gap of 10 percentage points.
The Department of Education have released a table showcasing the overall performance of pupils at the end of key stage 2 in 2019 across all primary schools in Bristol.
It ranks schools on the percentage of pupils who met the expected standard.
