A Primary school has issued a warning of a possible child abduction attempt.
Charlestown Community Primary School on Pilkington Road posted the warning on social media tonight, November 17.
They are asking parents to be extra vigilant and advised that police are investigating.

The school say they were alerted to a possible attempt of a child being taken from outside the school premises.
The school posted: "We’ve been alerted to a possible attempt to take a child from outside school today.
"Police are aware and investigating.
"Please can we ask all parents to be extra vigilant of their children at the end of the day."
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.
