An East Kilbride primary school had a fun-filled visit to the pantomime this week to see a special performance of 'Britney and the Beast'.
Primary seven pupils at Greenhills went to the Village Theatre - oh yes the did!
In November the theatre sent out a poster competition to local schools to create a poster to advertise this year's show 'Britney and the Beast'.
A number of classes entered from Greenhills Primary and Room 23 were ecstatic to find out that they were the winners.
Their prize was a trip to the pantomime to see one of the first performances of the show.
Pupils were able to attend the performance and had a brilliant time watching the the festive fun on stage.
Zoe Hutton, a P7 pupil said: "The show was fantastic and it was great to see our winning poster displayed so everyone can see it when they come to the show."
Due to COVID restrictions this was one of the first times pupils had been out of school on a trip and what a great first trip it was!
Mrs Catriona Hampson, P7 teacher said: "The pupils had a lovely time and it was a brilliant prize. They enjoyed the performance so much and have not stopped talking about it."
