Shoppers are rushing to Primark to get their hands on a 'cosy' £8 scarf before it sells out. The scarf, which has gone viral thanks to its likeness to a £240 version from designer brand Acne, is selling like hot cakes.
The £8 scarf features an all-over check print. It's been compared to Acne Studios' scarves, which typically retail at £240 each.
This means Primark's version is £232 less than its high end counterpart. Primark took to Instagram to share a photo of the scarf being modelled by @rojin10.
Captioning the image of the blue, purple and pink scarf to its 9.9 million followers, Primark simply penned: "Chunky scarves everyday @rojin10 Scarf £8/€9/$10 #Primark #AW22 ". The scarf proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 4,800 likes in less than 24 hours.
Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section, says the ECHO. One shopper said: "this looks so cozy wow".
Seyma said: "in love with the whole fit". Annabelle said: "Omg it looks like Acne Studios NEED IT NOW". Another shopper added: "Gahhh I'm obsessed with it it looks so spenny".
