Primark shoppers praise £30 coat that looks 'exactly the same' as £270 North Face jacket

Primark has unveiled a new winter coat which has been met with praise from fans on social media, who say it looks indistinguishable from one made by popular brand North Face.

The retail chain is well known for offering customers clothes that look remarkably similar to those found at high-end stores - but at a significantly cheaper price.

Its new winter coat is no different, and shoppers are already saying it looks "exactly like" one found at North Face for the steep price of £270.

However, Primark's version comes in at the staggeringly cheap price of £30, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

The cheap green and and black padded puffer jacket went viral after TikTok user @FreshTomato28 filmed and shared a clip of him visiting a Primark store - and has since received over 24,000 likes.

He said: “Guys so we come to Primark and we ask them to show us the North Face jackets and this is what they show us.

“They’ve actually got North Face jackets.”

Each jacket has been made from recycled materials - which will delight many shoppers.

The coats cost £30 each, while a similar version from North Face would set you back £270.

Shoppers rushed to compliment the jackets, with one person writing: "I actually don't hate them."

Another said: "Should've got me this instead of paying £200."

"I like them," a third wrote.

A fourth shopper commented: "£30 not bad that."

'Looks exactly the same', said another.

Other shoppers likened the coats to the costumes to Squid Games.

One wrote: "Primark x Squid Games.”

The coats are available to buy from Primark stores now.
