A woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing an unorthodox hay fever remedy.
Ellie Gorley posted a clip on the social media platform of her wearing a Primark face mask that has since racked up over 600 thousand views.
Ellie can be seen wearing the £2.50 mask in the clip, as the caption reads "“That time of year #hayfeverproblems #hayfevercheck #hayfeverhacks.”
She says: "Everyone with hay fever needs one of these, you put it in the freezer, so good.”
As reported by The Mirror, the cooling mask works as a compress, meaning it constricts blood vessels around the eyes and reduces inflammation, and as a result, the itchiness subsides.

Some users have also claimed that the mask can alleviate the headaches that are often associated with the allergy.
People flooded into the comments to praise Ellie for her useful find.
One admitted: "I need one so I don't look like I'm crying all the time."
Another joked: "I just want to remove my nose, just take it."
A third said: "I have it because of my terrible migraines and it really works."
2021 has seen many complain about hay fever, and some have claimed their symptoms have never been worse.
Comedian Rhys James tweeted: "Now 99.8% sure ‘the drugs don’t work’ was a song about hay fever."

The NHS offers the following tips for hay fever sufferers this summer:
spread Vaseline around your nose to trap pollen
wear wrap-around sunglasses to prevent pollen getting into your eyes
shower and change out of your clothes after going outside to wash pollen off
keep indoors whenever possible
close windows and doors as much as possible
hoover regularly and dust with a damp cloth
purchase a pollen filter for the air vents inside your car and a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter
