Primark shoppers horrified after spotting 'shocking' mannequin blunder

Since Primark reopened its doors to shoppers last month, people have been flocking to the retailer in their thousands to get their hands on some bargains.

But Primark has found itself being mocked by some shoppers thanks to an awkward 'gaffe' spotted on its mannequin display.

The awkward saga began when Primark shared a picture of its new denim range on Instagram.

Captioning the Instagram post, Primark wrote: "Yep, 100 per cent obsessed with these denim looks" before inserting love-eyed emojis.

Shoppers were quick to respond to the image - and they didn't hold back.

One shopper went in, writing: "Can someone please explain what's going on because this is shocking. Some weird combinations I've seen from primark this week. What is with those horrible sandals? Catch yourself on primark."

"Wtf. Is this a joke?" said somebody else.

Another added: "Why Primark?! Seriously?! Socks and flip-flops?! I thought you we a fashion company, you're supposed to help people look better."

"Socks and sandals," said somebody else - followed by a series of laughing emojis.

Looks like some people think the 90s need to be left 30 years in the past.
