Primark shoppers beg retailer to 'stop teasing' with 'cosy' new items

Primark shoppers are begging the retailer to “stop teasing” after it shared new stock online, despite stores being closed.

While non-essential stores closed their doors this week after England entered its third national lockdown, it certainly hasn’t slowed down Primark’s Instagram feed.

Sticking to routing, Primark took to its Instagram feed this week to share an image of some of its cosiest pyjamas and the post has seen a huge reaction from fans.

The post, which showcases two pairs of cosy pyjamas, had attracted more than 60,000 likes within hours of being posted.

Alongside the image, Primark said: “Outfits for the foreseeable... Anyone else?”.

It has caused massive excitement with many customers praising the pyjamas, which come in pink or grey.

Others, however, are begging the retailer to “stop teasing” them with new products at a time when they can’t visit stores - and Primark doesn’t allow online shopping.

Among the comments, one user wrote: “They look so damn cosy and it’s like they’re teasing us”.

Another added: “Stop teasing us Primark, you know fine well you are shut!”.

A third wrote: “Why advertise and tease when we can't order”, while a fourth said: “Wish we could order online”.

While Primark stores do not officially offer online shopping, there are still ways you can get your hands on products during lockdown. You can find out more here.
