A size 10 woman has vowed to boycott Primark after needing size 16 jeans because smaller ones don't fit.
Chloe-Mae Anderson-Maguire, 21, says she usually wears a size 8-10 in trousers - but was unable to get the size 14 pair over her bum after shopping in Primark.
She says she needed to go up a frustrating three dress sizes just to get the waistband to sit normally - and 'refuses' to buy or even try-on a size 16 pair.
In a Tik Tok video that showed her struggling to get the size 14 jeans on, she wrote: "WTF Primark, I'm a size 10."
She captioned the clip: "I’m bloated but still! I refuse to buy a 16."
Primark list their size 10 measurements for a women with 27.5in waist and 37in hips - this is smaller than the high street standard of - 28in waist and 37in hips.
The video has received over 14,000 likes since it was uploaded, with many commenters admitting they have faced similar issues with sizing.
One wrote: “I have 3 pairs of Primark jeans in sizes 6, 8, and 10! They’re all the exact same size??”
And another said: “I’m usually a size 10 but in Primark I have to buy a 14.”
While others questioned why Chloe-Mae was refusing to buy a 16, as they told her there was nothing wrong with being a larger size.
The woman then responded to insist she has no issue with bigger sizes but doesn’t want to support Primark’s “s**t sizing”.
She said: “I don’t have an issue with bigger sizes, I just refuse to support a brand that cause so many people to feel this way.
“I don’t want to support their s**t sizing.
“I refuse to shop there anymore.”
