Primark is set to reopen its Scottish branches from next month as lockdown restrictions begin to ease.
The clothing retailer has kept shops closed across the country since stay at home lockdown restrictions were imposed on Boxing Day last year.
It has been confirmed Primark will start welcoming customers back in store from April 26.
The firm is expected to reopen alongside all other non-essential retailers in Scotland from that date under the Scottish Government’s timetable out of lockdown.

It will be welcome news for fans of the retail chain, which does not have its own website to purchase items online unlike its competitors.
A spokesperson for the retailer told the Daily Record : “We are really looking forward to welcoming customers back to our stores in Scotland on the provisional re-opening date of April 26.
“We know out customers will love our amazing new Spring/Summer ranges, including bright leisurewear in spring pastels, as well as some exciting new collaborations with Disney and Pineapple, which will all be in-store when we re-open.
“As always, safety remains our top priority and we will continue to have extensive safety measures in place to help ensure that our employees and customers can return to Primark with confidence.”
Large swathes of the Scottish economy are expected to reopen on April 26 - just days after the Scottish Government expects to offer coronavirus vaccines to the nine most vulnerable groups in the country.
Gyms, pubs, restaurants and tourist accommodation are also among the sectors scheduled to welcome back punters from then.
Restrictions on meeting friends outdoors are also anticipated to be eased.
It is hoped that Scotland will be able to move to ‘at least' the lowest form of restrictions by the end of June this year.
